IO1 - Collection of Case Studies and Best Practices
Objectives of activities carried out:
Involvement of 9 Lithuanian schools.
Participation in the preparation of the Teachers‘ and Students' Questionnaires, giving comments, suggestions seeking to improve their quality.
Translation the questionnaires from English into Lithuanian language
The pilot study in the selected schools in Klaipeda (Lithuania).
Group discussion with teachers and school staff, collection of the feedbacks and analysing them.
Testing Students Questionnaires and Teachers/Staff Questionnaires.
Collection of data on students and teachers/staff's awareness on human rights and intercultural issues in schools.
Setting the methodology for Case Studies collection.

Selection of 2 Best Practices
Writing of the National Report on students and teachers/staff's awareness on human rights and intercultural issues in schools.
Production of the National Report.
Testing of IO1.
Description of activities carried out:
Comunication (by email, skype, phone, and individual meetings) with the 9 Lithuanian schools selected, explaining (clarifying) IHR context, target groups and main aims, activities.
Translating from English into Lithuanian the School Presentation Form and Participation Form to facilitate their understanding and filling in.
Collection of Schools Presentation Forms and Participation Letters.
Uploading of Schools Presentation Forms and Participation Letters into IHR website.
The pilot study was carried out.
Group disccussion of IHR Klaipeda University team with teachers on the Teachers‘ and Students' Questionnaires after the pilot study.
Were given the a few recommendations to Siena University regarding to Teachers‘ and Students‘ questionnaires.
Questionnaires:
a. Before the official submission, the Students Questionnaire and the Teachers Questionnaire have been tested to check the clarity of both questions & answers
b. Presentation of the IHR Students Questionnaire and Teacher/Staff Questionnaire in the selected schools before the submission
c. Submission of the IHR Students Questionnaire and Teacher/Staff Questionnaire in the selected schools
d. Uploading of the questionnaires' responses in the On-line Tool
Case studies collection:
a. Meetings of the KU team to agree on the methodology to apply in the Case Studies collection
b. Support to teachers in filling in the Case Studies templates
Selection of 2 Best Practices:
a. Meetings of the KU team to agree on the methodology to apply in the case studies collection
b. Meetings for the final selection
Analysis of data collected through the IHR Students Questionnaire and Teacher/Staff Questionnaire in the selected schools and Case Studies.
Writing of the National Report.
Analysis of the National Report.
Testing of IO1 during meetings and ME.
Results Achieved:
Definitive versions of Teachers‘/Staff's and Students‘ Questionnaire.
12 Case Studies collected in the 9 IHR schools and its uploading in the IHR portal.
2 best practices selected.
Production of the National Report.
The National Report on students and teachers/staff's awareness on human rights and intercultural issues in schools and their evaluation.
