The " Réunion d’information débat autour des productions du projet Erasmus+ “I Have Rights” en faveur de l’éducation aux droits fondamentaux européens dans un contexte scolaire multiculturel." was an event organised in Paris (France). It gathered around 30 partners, speakers, and school members and teachers from short private higher education (belonging to RenaSup), from all over France and Europe. Many professors were invited to this event. These teachers have different specialties, such as sport, history, languages, and these have moved from all over France to attend this event RenaSup. This event was a real end of project event, which allowed the participants to take stock of the entire project, but also to have several interrogations on the project but also on different themes that the event encompasses.
The event took place on June 19, 2018 at the Fiap Jean Monnet in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. Once the guests arrived, they were treated to a welcome from the Renasup team before the start of the event. After this reception, the guests were able to settle down and listen to the overall presentation of the project that is to say its issues, themes and expectations, made by Mr. Jean-Marc Petit, General Manager RenaSup and Mrs. Laure Nison, responsible for education and religion training at Formiris. Following this overall presentation of the project as well as the event, Alessandra Viviani, Professor of Political Science at the Università di Siena, gave a presentation on the background of the I Have Rights project. Subsequently, Alessandra made a presentation of the objectives of the project. She then presented the different Intellectual Outpouts, including the teacher's guide written during the project by the European partners. Following this intervention by Mrs. Viviani, Pierre Vannoni, professor of literature at the Victorine Magne High School in the city of Lisieux, came with two of his students, to testify to the intercultural policies that he and his students put in place. The two students, Melvin and Kevin, testified to the efforts of their peers in integrating young migrants into their school. In addition, they presented their project of humanitarian trip to Morocco. Then there was an exchange between the audience and these three speakers about their experience with multicultural integration. This exchange was extremely interesting and constructive. The audience really appreciated this intervention in relation to the themes and the project led by renaSup and all the European partners.Mrs. Sylvie Dacosta, researcher commissioned by the SGEC, presented an article she wrote for the project I Have Rights, on the mixités. Following the presentation of Sylvie Dacosta, Mrs. Véronique Huet, lawyer by training and president of the AREJ association, presented its research work for the I Have Rights project. Ms. Huet's thinking focuses on mediation and intercultural education, and she has presented her reflections on the relations between foreigners and members of a community, but especially how to promote intercultural education.
After this intervention, participants were able to pose for lunch.
The afternoon was an opportunity for the participants to exchange in small groups around 4 dynamic forums. These forums were thus able to allow the participants to address various questions concerning the interest of ERASMUS + projects in the development of international competences.
The different forums were presented in the following order: Erasmus Project (Maryvonne Piquet) or the theme is the following: Erasmus projects. Thus, several issues were addressed: What is an Erasmus + project? How to present an Erasmus project? How to support the student in developing his skills? OR again: How to unite the teams? The second forum presented by Laure Nison was the Professionalisation of Teaching where several issues were presented to each small group of people, according to which: Why train internationally? How to train? What links to student projects? Or, what means to use? , The third forum presented by Mr Jean-Marc Petit was: Accompaniment of the orientation in which, this last presents the accompaniment to the orientation. Thus, this one and the participants of the forum tackled various problems like: Why develop international competences? Why integrate parcoursup? Or: How to support students in valuing their skills? Finally, the last forum presented by Sylvie Dacosta was presented according to the following theme: Multiculturalism according to the mixities within which several issues to the participants as: Why and how to teach in a multicultural environment? What good practices to share? Or again: What are the levers and brakes to these teaching in a multicultural environment?
This event was a real success, like the project "I Have Rights", made by RenaSup and all of its European partners. The guests were really interested not only in the theme, the various testimonies (notably that of Mr. Vannoni and his students), but also and especially the activities proposed by Renasup during this event, including the various forums created during the afternoon. . This project was a real success, and it had a real impact on the participants of the project but also and especially the participants of the event of June 19, 2018.
